Keto French Onion Chicken Casserole Recipe

TOTAL TIME: 30 minutes


  • 5 cups onion
  • 3 chicken breasts (6 oz each)
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 Tbsp ghee, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp chili flakes


  1. Caramelize onions over low heat for 15 min until they become caramel in color. Set aside and cool.
  2. Place chicken breasts in a casserole dish side by side.
  3. Combine all remaining ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well.
  4. Top chicken with the mixture and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until topping becomes golden brown.
