Ingredients

  • 5 cups onion sliced
  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 cup pepper jack cheese shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 3 tablespoons ghee melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes
  • Crispy onions

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F / 204 degrees C.
  • Caramelize 5 cups onion over low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until deeply caramelized. Set aside to cool.

  • Place 3 chicken breasts in casserole dish, side by side.

  • In a medium bowl, combine 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 cup pepper jack cheese1 cup cheddar cheese, 3 tablespoons ghee, 3 cloves garlic, 1 cup chicken broth, 2 tablespoons parsley, 1 teaspoons paprika, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, and ½ teaspoon chili flakes. Mix well.
