Let’s talk about how to prevent bacterial vaginosis. Bacterial vaginosis is a condition where there is an overgrowth of bacteria. Normally, in the vagina, this bacteria is present in small amounts. It’s only a problem when there is an overgrowth of this bacteria. During keto-adaptation, some women experience a side effect known as keto crotch which is a temporary imbalance than can be addressed with proper nutrition and diet.

Symptoms of bacterial vaginosis can include a bad odor and a lot of pain. This condition can also develop into a UTI (urinary tract infection).
