4-6 slices of easily melted cheese (here we use cheddar and American)
*make sure the cheese is Organic and hormone-free
2 tbsp butter
FOR THE BREAD:
2 tbsp butter
6 tbsp almond flour
2 tsp ground flax meal
1 tsp gluten-free baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 large eggs
¼ tsp onion powder
Freshly ground black pepper
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, mix together the almond flour, flax meal, baking powder, and salt.
Melt 2 tbsps of butter in a small bowl and add to the dry mixture, mixing until smooth.
Grease a small rectangular or square baking dish well with olive oil.
Pour the dough into the baking dish, making sure it’s level.
Bake for 15 minutes until a knife or toothpick comes out clean from the middle of the bread.
Let it cool before cutting, and then cut in half and lengthwise to make your slices of bread.
