Keto Jalapeño Poppers

- 3 oz / .1 kg cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup / 60 mL cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup / 60 mL green onions, chopped
- 1 Tbsp / 15 mL fresh cilantro, minced
- 6 medium-sized jalapenos
- ¼ cup / 60 mL bacon bits
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F / 204 degrees C. Line a baking sheet with parchment or foil.
In a small bowl, stir/mash together the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, cilantro, and garlic. (You can heat the cream cheese a bit if it is too hard.)
Halve and seed jalapenos.
Fill the jalapeno halves with cream cheese mixture. Place on the baking sheet.
Top each jalapeno popper with about a teaspoon of bacon bits, pressing them lightly into the cream cheese filling.
Bake about 15 minutes, until peppers are soft and the bacon on top is crispy.
