Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 2 eggs large
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

  • 1 jalapeño medium, finely chopped.

  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F / 177 degrees C.
  • In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to combine 2 tablespoons butter, 2 eggs, and 2 tablespoons sour cream.

  • In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup cheddar cheese, 1 jalapeño, 1 cup almond flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and ½ teaspoon salt.

  • Fold dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
  • Spoon batter into silicone molds or a muffin pan.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden and set.
Cheddar biscuits are the best!  Jalapenos add an extra kick.  You won’t believe that these are low carb when you taste them.  Sour cream helps to add a moist texture to these awesome biscuits.  We made 6 biscuits with this recipe.  But here are the macros for the entire recipe, just divide these numbers by the amount of servings that you make.
