When I reached the age of 49 I looked at myself in a reflection of a window and hardly recognised that it was me. I had just moved to Malaysia to work and I was having a lot of issues with my feet and knees as well as my lower back. At that point of seeing myself I thought I really need to shop something so I joined the gym. I weighed in at 115 kg, I was so shocked I started working out 6 days a week and in the first 12 months of "healthy" eating as in low calorie no fats I only lost 6 kg. At this point was about to give up as I thought there was no point and I was going to be this week for ever. Then I met someone very very special to me now his name is Julian, who is a fitness consultant/personal trainer and he introduced me to different alternatives. These worked a little and managed to get down to 92kg. Then Julian discovered Dr Burg as he wanted to lose 10kg and reduce his body fat and shared Keto and intermittent fasting with me explaining all the science behind it why I should try it. So I did. I love the Keto diet and intermittent fasting I feel so healthy, I like I did when I was in my 20's. I will never go back to my old ways of eating and I feel very blessed to have met Julian who has been my rock throughout this 3 year journey. I can't and don't want to imagine what I would be like today if Julian hadn't been there for me and introduce me to you Dr Burg. I have learnt so much from the YouTube videos you post which I watch everyday. I will get to my goal with the support from Julian the knowledge from you and determination I have. I am currently "stuck" at 72/73kg (fluctuates between) and again trying to find ways to get down to my goal of 68kg. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge it it's a blessing.
