Keto for life. Had a lot of health problems prior to keto. Feel amazing. Never going back to feeling horrible. Keto works. My body had to heal. ???? I am in remission for Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) (a blood thinning disorder) and was on high dosage steroids for 7 months. My health has been terrible for years after that and I ended up getting heavier and heavier with a bad diet. I am also celiac, had leaky gut syndrome, have suffered depression for a long time and have had no energy for years. Doctors couldn't help me and don't know what caused my ITP. All my tests came back negative. My platelets were at 3 when i eventually went to hospital (normal range is 150 - 450) I was at a lost and thought that I am going to have to live my life feeling terrible and depressed. The only thing that has helped me is keto and Dr. Berg's amazing advice. I'm a different person now. I'm happy, healthy and full of energy. ???? I now feel strong enough now to start exercising as many times I have tried before and just keep getting ill. Keto has changed my life. I was an emotional eater and had food addictions. I now don't crave the bad foods. I just don't feel like them anymore. I still do like a treat like yogurt with berries and keto friendly bakes treats on occasion. I don't feel deprived eating this way. I feel great and have never eaten this healthy in my life. It was a gradual change. The healthier I got the more I craved vegetables. This is my lifestyle now. 11 months and no looking back. I continue eating the keto lifestyle (eating 2 meals per day sometimes 1 because I am not hungry but I never force it) I let my body tell me what it wants to do. I would do intermittent fasting mainly 16:8 most days and longer fasts about once a month or so. Thank you Dr Berg for all your informative videos. Straight to the point and I have learnt so much. I am even helping others now on their keto journeys and have a support group for this.
