Chris Haider|Intermittent fasting

Story

I have type 2 diabetes and I'm in my 50s. It's been a struggle for me to keep my weight down. I just don't always feel like I have the energy to exercise like I want to. I am a huge fan of Dr. Berg's videos and I can't tell you how much it has helped me to know what to eat and how to control my diabetes through keto. I kind of got off track over the last year with my diet and exercise so I decided I needed to get back on board with it. I started again this year, on May 19th of this year, I began doing intermittent fasting and in 2 months I've lost 14 and a half pounds. I've dropped two pants sizes. I feel better, I'm sleeping better and I have more energy. I had done a variation of intermittent fasting from time to time but now I'm eating one meal a day, no snacks and I'm sure to get all my nutrition by getting all the veggies and lettuce I need and the necessary protein. Not only has it simplified what I'm going to eat it, it takes so little time now. It's actually very easy. I've actually had my husband join me to some degree in the keto journey as our age gets older, he agrees that he feels better since he is cut down significantly on carbs and foods that just made him feel tired and weighed down. His job is physical labor and so he can see a big difference in the energy level that going ultra-low carbs makes. Dr. Berg, you make it so easy. Thanks for being there for all of us and the constant encouragement.
