In the 80’s I worked in a gym and was in great shape. I felt amazing. I started having pain in my heals and was told I had to have surgery in both feet. I ended up on antidepressants and gained a lot of weight. I gained so much weight. Fast forward to this year.. I knew I had to do something because I was in so much pain and so depressed I couldn’t get out of bed most mornings. I started watching Dr Bergs videos and started The Ketogenic diet and started intermittent fasting. I also started taking probiotics. Five months later staying very faithful to the diet and never having more than 20 grams of carbs a day I reached my goal. I now weigh 126 lbs. I went from a size tight 14 to a size 4 jeans. Even the 4’s are falling off now. In only 5 months I lost 63 lbs. My husband looks at me like a dog looking in a butchers window. All my friends were messaging me asking how I did it so I started a group page titled Let’s Get Healthy Together with Keto and Intermittent Fasting and other healthy hacks. Our group has 333 people in it. All my pain and inflammation are gone. My husband and I do 21 miles on our bikes on the local Rail Trail. I was healthy when my husband met me and I ended up getting very unhealthy. I felt like I pulled the bait and switch on him. Fit to fat to fit. I feel fantastic now and I will never ever go back to the Standard American Diet. Nothing taste as good as healthy feels. Thank you Dr Berg for saving my life. My husband says thank you too for helping him get his heathy wife back.
