Hi everyone and thank you for many informative posts. I have been doing keto for 17 months. I lost 123 lbs the first year, so I did something right, right? For the last 7 months, I have been working out at the gym and are building muscles. It's a slow process but at least I build lean muscles. Ok, so I am NOT trying to make myself the smartest ketoer in here but I notice that many people in here tend to complicate things. Just cut your carbs to a minimum, get plenty of fats and have some meat every day. Drink 3 liters of water every day and take extra vitamins, salt and magnesium daily. A good piece of advice is to make a body scan at a gym monthly. This will show you that you are losing fat (fat%, lean muscle%, and water) This is a great way to see if you are on the right track. I wish everybody good luck and remember to never give up, even if you feel the process to be slow. You have already come a long way when you decided to go keto. Keep up your good work. Pic, left: 144,8 kg, pic, right: 92,0 kg PS! A friendly advice: Just accept the fact that there are some things in life you (we) cannot have anymore... Carbs and sugar (carbs). I hear people who just won’t let go of their comfort food! And are looking for substitutes even if its keto-friendly, you trigger your cravings with artificial sweeteners. The truth is that as soon as you decide to stop giving in, you will be alright. The cravings stop when you stop looking for something that reminds you of chocolate. The substitute is an anchor who triggers your old behavior
