Mel Shares Amazing Results - Dr. Berg's Healthy Keto

Story

By: Mel

Hi I just discovered your channel today. I've been doing the keto diet for about 2 weeks. At the beginning I have to admit I did have a noticable crash in energy, and I'm not sure if I got the keto "flu". It may have just been in my head. Now I feel more energetic and productive at work. A few days I had trouble thinking of foods to eat, especially when I was out. I had one day when I didn't seem to have any options and was very drained. But when I got home had tons of broccolini and salmon and was fine. One thing I found hard to get in my diet was fiber, so I had to be creative. Making things like chia pudding with lots of seeds and trying to eat high fiber veggies. I did discover a type of noodle that is basically zero calorie (I know it's not about cutting calories) and has 5g of fiber per serving and very very low carb, the konjac noodle. Packed in liquid on the shelf it does have an odd smell when opened and is easily washed away, you don't even have to cook them! Now I understand they wouldn't be to everyone's liking but I think it's worth trying. I used them in a coconut shrimp soup and they we delicious! I also made a chia pudding that had ground flax in them. It was a little blah but didn't taste bad. I'm not sure if this next thing was good for keto but it was a hot chocolate made with almond milk, cinnamon, a Tbsp of coconut oil about a Tbsp of caco, a 1/2 oz square of Mayan chocolate (just to cut the bitterness) and a tsp of ground chia for texture, it was actually pretty good! I would estimate that it had about 10g of carbs in it so it's not an everyday thing but a good source of calcium. The reason I'm not including a before and after picture is because this was not for weight lose, but rather to see if it would decrease the amount of seizures. I would like to say it worked for sure but it is too early to tell. I feel like I've had less in the last 2 days but the ones I get on a daily basis are very small and would describe it more like an aura and don't always happen anyways. The weight lose may be an additional benefit but sadly that hasn't taken effect yet. ;) lol. P.S. I don't think I would like to be on a video interview, but you can definitely use my story if you want. Also I basically got in the habit lately of eating 2 PC of toast every morning and a bunch of crackers at night (what can i say, I like the crunch! ) And those cravings went away I want to say in the first 4 days.
