Hello, my name is Dylan and I am from central Wisconsin. I started intermittent fasting back in September of 2017. In 2011 I was 17 and 310 lbs playing football. After I graduated I got a scholarship to play in college but that ended very quickly due to an ankle dislocation. After being laid up for several months I began to gain weight and became very out of shape and I lost all motivation. In 2012 my daughter was born and began to gain even more weight. My self esteem was at an all time low when I saw 350 on the scale. Through my bad life choices and unhealthy habits in sept of 2017 my absolute heaviest I was 366lbs. It was the day I took my now 4 year old daughter to her first day of school and looked at myself in the picture I took with her. I finally decided enough was enough and committed myself to making a change. I started going to the gym 3 times a week and changed my diet as well as intermittent fasting at that point doing the 16-8 split. It was extremely hard at first being a single full time father and business owner but I kept reminding myself of my promise to myself and my daughter and pushed through it. The pounds started coming off. Now as of today February 19th 2017 my weight is down to 302 lbs. I feel better about myself both physically and mentally than I have in longer than I can remember. I am now doing an 18-6 split and going to the gym 6 nights a week and going stronger than ever before. I can’t wait to see what the next 6 months have in store as I made a commitment with my younger brother whom is a US marine to start doing tough mudders with him. I will never go back to where I was thanks to intermittent fasting as well as proper diet and exercise! Thank you for taking the time to read through my story.
