For The First Time In a Long Time By Blood Pressure Is NORMAL

The weight loss journey started in the new year of 2017. High cholesterol, high blood pressure 280 lbs. Having just turned 26 I was in the worst shape of my life. With a history of heart problems in my family along with some hard conversations with family, I took a hard look at myself and decided enough was enough. First I got active again, stopped drinking and smoking. Progress was slow. I started working out more and seeing small changes in my weight. By around May, I had lost around 10-15 lbs. However, my blood pressure was still consistently high. I decided to take a closer look at my diet, I severely cut down my sugar and carb intake (not keto levels) and seen some improvements. At this point, I also started incorporating IF into my daily routine. The weight slowly but sure kept coming off, but I was still a ways away from my goal. Around August I started watching your videos and decided to go full keto. So three months into keto I’ve hit my weight looks goal of 85 lbs total. (January to December 2017) Keto was that final missing piece I believe to completing my weight loss goals. Focusing on a low-carb Whole Foods diet with IF really has helped changed my mindset towards food. Focusing on the nutrients and looking at food as fuel and nourishment rather than a pure pleasure or as a go-to for when I feel bad, Training 2-3 hours of resistance training per week 1 hour of cardio, and 2 hours of HIIT. Just want to thank you for all your hard work and the role you played in changing my life. Truly I believe I was on a fast track to a heart attack and for the first time in a long time by blood pressure is NORMAL and cholesterol is NORMAL (eating at least 3 eggs a day????) I’m less hyper, more focused now more of a critical thinker. Truly a life changing experience. Thank you Dr. Berg.
