For the past three years, I’ve been living with PTSD, and I was diagnosed with PCOS twelve years ago. It’s been a long, difficult road—nothing ever felt truly sustainable. I tried different diets, different approaches, and saw plenty of doctors, most of whom told me that the only path to healing my PTSD was through medication.
Eventually, I hit rock bottom.
At my highest weight of 250 pounds, I experienced a severe mental breakdown that led to a hospital stay. That was my wake-up call—the moment I knew I had to take back control of my health, both physically and mentally.
A New Path: Keto and Intermittent Fasting

I’ve lost 8 inches from my waist and hips. I have no idea how much weight I’ve lost—because I threw out the scale—but I feel incredible!

Most, if not all, of my PTSD symptoms are gone.
And as if that wasn’t enough, I’ve also started to reverse some of my PCOS symptoms. For the first time in a long time, I feel like me again—strong, focused, and optimistic.
