Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cut 1 pound spaghetti squash in half and remove seeds.
- Place squash flesh side down and bake for 30 to 35 min until squash becomes soft.1 pound spaghetti squash
- Remove casings from ¾ pound Italian sausage. In large skillet over medium heat brown sausage and set aside.¾ pound Italian sausage
- Once Spaghetti squash is baked use fork to scrape out flesh resembling spaghetti noodles into large mixing bowl.
- Combine squash with 1½ cup marinara sauce, 3 tablespoons fresh basil, 2 tablespoons salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, and 1 egg, mix well.1½ cup marinara sauce, 3 tablespoons fresh basil, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon pepper, 2 tablespoons salt
- In small loaf pan, use olive oil spray and line with parchment paper.olive oil spray
- Place mix into loaf pan and sprinkle with 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese.4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
