Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut 1 pound spaghetti squash in half and remove seeds.

Place squash flesh side down and bake for 30 to 35 min until squash becomes soft.

Remove casings from ¾ pound Italian sausage. In large skillet over medium heat brown sausage and set aside.

Once Spaghetti squash is baked use fork to scrape out flesh resembling spaghetti noodles into large mixing bowl.

Combine squash with 1½ cup marinara sauce, 3 tablespoons fresh basil, 2 tablespoons salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, and 1 egg, mix well.

In small loaf pan, use olive oil spray and line with parchment paper.

Place mix into loaf pan and sprinkle with 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
