Keto Philly Cheesesteak Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp / 30 mL coconut oil
  • 3 medium onions, sliced
  • 3 bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 12-oz box mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tsp / 5 mL garlic
  • 1 tsp / 5 mL salt
  • 1tsp / 5 mL pepper
  • 1 Tbsp / 15 mL Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp / 2.5 mL crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1½ lb / .7 kg sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F / 190 degrees C.

  2. Heat large skillet.

  3. Melt coconut oil in skillet.

  4. Add onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, garlic, salt, Italian seasoning, red pepper. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes.

  5. Add beef to skillet. Add salt and pepper for taste. 

  6. Continue to saute until beef is no longer pink.

  7. Transfer everything into a 9x13-inch pan.

  8. Top with sliced Swiss cheese.

  9. Bake in oven for 10 to 15 minutes to melt cheese.
