The best cut of pork to use when making pulled pork is pork shoulder or pork butt. Pork shoulder and pork butt are the same thing, just different names for the same cut of meat.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F / 121 degrees C.
- Place 5 pounds pork shoulder in a foil-covered baking dish or Dutch oven. Bake 9 to 10 hours, until tender. Do not uncover during cooking.5 pounds pork shoulder
- While warm, pull pork apart with forks.
- Mix a Splash apple cider vinegar and Salt to taste to the meat after you pull it apart for added flavor.
- Serve and enjoy.

My recipe: Crockpot on high 6-7 hours. Shred, then fry with 1 tbsp olive oil or fat in cast iron skillet for 3-4 minutes to create crispy bits. Then add vinegar.
