Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F / 177 degrees C.
- In a medium bowl place 1 pound ground pork, 1 tablespoon garlic salt, 1 teaspoon dried thyme, ¼ teaspoon ground sage and 1 teaspoon black pepper. - Line a cutting board with plastic wrap. Divide pork into 8 equal portions and place evenly spaced onto plastic wrap. Top with more plastic wrap.
- Press down on pork to form ¼ inch thick patties. Remove plastic wrap. Place a hard-boiled egg on each patty and form pork around egg. Try to cover the egg completely with meat.8 eggs
- Place strips of bacon onto cutting board. Tear sage leaves into ½ inch pieces and place 3 portions onto each 8 bacon slices, equally spaced.sage leaves, 8 bacon
- Carefully roll the bacon around each 8 eggs, stretching the bacon with each turn. The bacon should cover the center of the egg. Place meat-wrapped eggs on parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes until ground pork is set and bacon is slightly crispy.
- Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
