I don’t know anything about Dr Bergs consultations and I haven’t bought any products, my review purely based on the free information on YouTube.

Just starting out on keto diet for health not for weight loss..i am slim but have always had bad sugar cravings and often binge on sugar and carbs… Especially after alcohol lol.

There’s a lot to learn on keto about carb reduction and healthy fats, glycemic index and loading with fruits and veggies, as well as all the technical aspects of how keto actually works… Dr Berg has very helpful videos on YouTube covering many aspects from basic overviews of the diet/lifestyle to very in depth detailed videos and discussion on how it’s working and what is happening with the body.

I’m very grateful to him and so many others for putting all this information out there.

Some others that are my go to guys on the subject of keto.

Thomas DeLauer, so many helpful videos on keto that I’ve watched getting started.

DrBoz has amazing overviews and scientific keto videos with whiteboard charts and explanations of what’s happening during the first days transitioning through the various stages into ketosis, with meal and carb/glucose burning and storage/recovery with the liver and how fast glucose will be used up during fasting/non eating periods and the eventual start of ketone production and adaptation as the various organs and finally brain starts to be able to burn ketones for fuel. Very interesting stuff and easy to watch and understand.

A final mention has to go to Dr Mercola (first heard about keto through his daily email updates..over 5 or 10 years ago… actually I was briefly on his no grain diet back in 2005 (no grains, sugars, starches).. Low carb but I wasn’t doing high fat as well then. In general amazing health resources and so much information and in depth videos on his website/YouTube.

Like the sharing of youtube videos he share online. have yet to really try out on IF and the diet plan

I’m on the keto diet to lower my blood sugar. He recommends gradually decrease the number of meals we eat. I already eat only two meals day been doing that for years. So according to his theory of fasting, I will eventually have to stop eating altogether! Isn’t that dangerous?

facts that dr berg publish on his videos are accurate and the facts he has reduced the amount of sugar people consume is amazing here are couple of things that i fear regarding his mindset treating without tests and using symptoms is one , second he does not emphasize on the gut aspect bacterial fungal and parasitic infections and he is putting everyone on ketosis say for example a person runs 10km he should consume some carbs fats breakdown takes time carbs gives instant energy

Finding Dr. Berg was an answer to prayer in getting my health back. His videos are so informative and helpful. Thank you, Dr. Berg and Karen for all you are doing to help people learn the truth about sugar and high carbs.

Good clinic run by a physician with better marketing. Their program did not work for me but it follows common-sense principles.
