Chicken Salad Wraps
Chicken wraps are delicious with a side of berries and bacon. They are quick and easy to make especially if you roast a chicken ahead of time and have the chicken meat already cooked!
TOTAL TIME: 35 mins
Chicken (3 oz) - shredded
Mayo (30 g) - 2 tablespoons
Onion (20 g) - 1 ½ tablespoons
Blueberries (20 g) - 14 blueberries
Lettuce (40 g)
Bacon (32 g) - 4 slices
Avocado (75 g) - ¾ medium avocado
Lemon - 1/4 medium
- Mix chicken, mayo, onions, lemon zest, chives.
- Place mixture on lettuce leaves.
- Garnish with lemon juice, and more lemon zest.
- Salt/pepper to taste.
Whenever you are dealing with a creamy dish like chicken salad, garnish it with a little bit of lemon juice and lemon zest. It brightens the flavor! It is a simple step, but it adds another dimension of flavor to the dish.
Salt heavily for flavor when using high fat foods such as mayo.
