Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in pan on medium heat.1 tablespoon olive oil
- Pat salmon dry. Season with salt to taste.
- Add 8 ounces salmon to pan, continue to cook on medium heat. Make sure pan is hot. To create sear, don't move salmon for 4 to 5 minutes.8 ounces salmon
- Cook on other side until desired temp of 145 degrees F / 63 degrees C.
- Serve with greens or preferred low-carb sides.
Notes
- Use extra light olive oil or avocado oil when searing salmon at high heat, since both have a high smoke point.
