How to Lose Weight Without Losing Muscle

The last thing you want to do is to lose weight and end up having flabby skin and feeling weak.

Remember: Your body will break down your own protein in the weight loss process. 

Thankfully, branched amino acids build up the protein in your body and prevent its breakdown. 

Here are examples of food that will help protect your muscles from breaking down:

1. Eggs

2. Cottage Cheese

3. Soy (Tip: Stay away from soy if you don’t want to damage your liver.)

Make sure you only buy organic cottage cheese. Otherwise, you will end up getting one that has MSG (Modified Sodium Glutamate) which is a Modified Food Starch. 

Branched Amino Acids should be consumed before or after a workout. Most health food stores have them, but just make sure they contain LeucineIsoleucine, and Valine.
