Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees / 204 degrees F.
- In a bowl, combine ½ cup mozzarella cheese and 1 ounce cream cheese.½ cup mozzarella cheese, 1 ounce cream cheese
- Melt down and mix well.
- In a separate bowl, mix ½ cup almond flour and 2 teaspoons psyllium husk.½ cup almond flour, 2 teaspoons psyllium husk
- Add 1 egg, beaten, to the cheese mixture (make sure that your cheese mixture is not hot, you don’t want to cook the egg with residual heat).1 egg
- Add the almond flour and psyllium husk mixture to the cheese and egg mixture and combine to form a dough.
- Knead the dough. Refrigerate for 10 minutes – this will make it easier to work with.
- Roll out the dough about ¼ inch thick on parchment paper or silicone baking mat with some extra almond flour to avoid sticking.
- If you are using a silicone baking mat, use a non-sharp object to cut 1½ inch thick strips.
- Roll and wrap 2 sausages.2 sausages
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
