Instructions
Chicken fried steak
- In blender or food processor, grind 3 cups pork rinds.3 cups pork rinds
- Set up your breading station by putting 1 cup coconut flour, 2 eggs beaten, and ground pork rinds in three seperate bowls.1 cup coconut flour, 2 eggs
- First, dip 3 ounces cube steak in coconut flour.3 ounces cube steak
- Next, dip steak in egg mixture.
- Dip steak in pork rinds. Make sure to fully coat steak.
- In pan, add 2 cups frying oil. Bring oil up to 350 degrees F / 177 degrees C over medium heat.2 cups frying oil
- Gently drop breaded steak into oil.
- Cook on each side for 4 to 5 minutes. Outside should be crispy and golden, while inside should be fully cooked.
Gravy
- Save ¼ cup of oil that you fried chicken steak in.
- Add 1 tablespoon butter. Melt down.1 tablespoon butter
- Add 1 cup heavy cream. Stir.1 cup heavy cream
- Add ½ tablespoon xanthan gum. Mix well.½ tablespoon xanthan gum
- Run gravy through heat-safe blender for perfect consistency.
- Serve with steak and collard greens. Enjoy!
