How did you discover keto?  

I was introduced to keto and carnivore through research, and later had the privilege of discussing my journey in two interviews with Dr. Philip Ovadia. His insights, along with my own experiences, inspired me to adopt this lifestyle and share it with others.  

What did your diet look like prior to adopting keto?  

My diet used to be filled with carbohydrates: bread, rice, pasta, and processed foods. Despite trying to eat “healthy,” at times, I was caught in a cycle of sugar cravings, hunger, and low energy.  

Did you have any problems with your weight or health before going on keto?  

Yes. I faced weight challenges, unstable energy levels, and recurring cravings. These issues affected both my physical and mental well-being.  

How has your health improved since you started keto?  

My health has transformed. I’ve lost weight, gained steady energy throughout the day, and experienced clearer thinking. My cravings have diminished, my digestion is healthier, and overall, I feel empowered and in control. 

How does an average day of eating/fasting look for you on keto?  

I usually combine keto or carnivore eating with intermittent fasting. I often have my first meal around midday–something protein-rich with healthy fats, such as eggs, meat, or fish with low-carb vegetables. Dinner is often a simple, nutrient-dense, animal-based meal. Snacking has almost disappeared from my routine completely.  

Does exercise play a role in your success on keto? If so, how?  

Yes. Keto has made exercise more enjoyable because I have the energy and endurance to stay consistent. I do light strength training, walking, and other activities without the fatigue I used to feel before.  

If you could offer advice to someone starting keto, what would you say?  

Be patient with yourself during the transition phase. Focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods, don’t fear healthy fats, and trust the process. Learning why keto works will give you the motivation to stay on track.

I deeply admire Dr. Berg and his work, which has been a tremendous source of knowledge and inspiration throughout my journey. Having the chance to share my story with him and his community would truly be a dream come true.  

I hope my experience can encourage and inspire others who are looking to reclaim their health through lifestyle and nutrition.
