This is an incredibly easy chocolate mousse recipe that's also incredibly delicious. The texture and flavor of chocolate mousse is so satisfying. With the way this chocolate mousse tastes, you would think there is no way you would be allowed to eat it if you were trying to eat healthily. But, this chocolate mousse recipe is completely keto-friendly!
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
½ cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
¼ cup powdered zero-calorie sweetener (we use powdered erythritol here)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 pinch salt
Place cream cheese in a large bowl and beat using an electric mixer until fluffy and add heavy cream and vanilla extract. Beat on low for another minute until combined and then add your sweetener, cocoa powder and salt, and beat for an additional few minutes on high until light and fluffy. Serve immediately or put in the fridge for later!
Recipe note:if your mousse does not become fluffy after a while of mixing, you can add a ½ tsp of unflavored gelatin powder and it should improve the texture!
