This causes an increase in heart rate and blood pressure as well as the release of sugar into the bloodstream for energy. The body is in a state of constant alertness which can lead to anxiety, irritability, and difficulty sleeping.

Vitamin B1, also known as thiamine, is critical for the proper functioning of the nervous system. It helps to calm the nerves and reduces stress levels. A lack of vitamin B1 can lead to anxiety, depression, and fatigue.
