Dr.Berg helped me alot to lose weight i did his ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting and he has alot of information about everything you need to loos weight

I couldn’t do it without him

The doctors YouTube videos are priceless. The wealth of knowledge he has is amazing. There should be more doctors like this!!

I have heard of IF about 3 years ago while on deployment. I researched it a little and what I had read really made sense to me. Being in the military we not only have to maintain a level of fitness, but we are required to maintain a certain weight based on our age and height.

I tried the meal preps and although I did see results, I just felt like a slave to the preparation, the schedule, didn’t really like eating when I wasn’t hungry, and spending money for the preps. I just couldn’t see myself doing it for a long period of time.

After a little research and I do mean little, I gave it a try. I did 18 hours of fasting with a 6 hours window of getting in my meals for a week. I felt great not having to worry about eating every two or three hours, prepping for the week, and so on. My energy level seemed to be much higher and I slept better while on intermittent fasting.

Unfortunately, after deployment I had a lot of injuries that required surgery and test. For a whole year I was unable to workout and my motivation level went on a downward spiral. I ended up gaining 30 pounds and my healthy was being affected by it. No longer after being told that I have a fatty liver caused by Nash syndrome and that I had to lose weight, I started to fast again. Unable to exercise like I normally would, I just began to walk vigorously on every type of terrain I could find. In three months I had lost 12 pounds and the gastrointestinal department at the Veterans Administration Hospital told me that all my levels were lower than before.

The bottom line here is intermittent fasting really works and now that I am cleared to get back in the gym. I am sure the fat will melt that much faster. I just happen to stumble onto one of Dr. Berg’ s video on the Ketogenic diet and it really had a lot of great information. I also found out a lot more about intermittent fasting that I had questions about through his videos.

I look forward to applying the knowledge that Dr. Berg has on his YouTube site, especially the ones about the Keto diet.
