I started keto on January 6, 2018. My before weight was 227.9. I’m 5.3 1/2 ht. My goal at first was to get healthy and then lose weight. In December 2017 my doctor told me I had to lose weight because my cholesterol HDL and LDL, and triglycerides were bad. In January my sister encourages me to try to start losing weight with her. We usually did low carb diet. But ever since 2012 after my hysterectomy and gallbladder removal I hadn’t had any success losing by doing that diet. Plus I just couldn’t get motivated to do it. Well reasons unknown to me Dr. Berg's page started showing in my news feeds so I was snowed in so I started watching his videos. I was hooked in the first week. I lost 6lbs the first week then went to 3 lbs a week loss after about 4-5 months I went to 2 lbs a week loss. Now I’m losing 1-2 lbs a week. Lots of inches, sorry I didn’t measure. I went and had my cholesterol and etc. checked and they are now normal. Currently, I’m at 179.6 and my goal is 150.
