Dr. John Koroloff Shares Amazing Results - Dr. Berg's Healthy Keto

Story

By: Dr. John Koroloff

I am a retired professor of Biological, Environmental and Marine Sciencean Science and in my last years of teaching developed a course titled: "The Biology of Obesity, Ageing and Disease". I have done a lot of research on IF and understand that fasting up-regulates a number of specific enzymes for fat metabolism that our normal current diet does not initiate. Consequently, enzyme genes that shift metabolism from glucose to lipid (ketogenic) energy are never up-regulated when people engage in a diet of continuous eating. Ergo, the time lag you describe when switching from a glycogen/glucose to lipid energy source. Further, I find that research on human paleobiology reveals that intermittent fasting was a natural condition of human evolution.
