Keto Flank Steak with Cauliflower and Broccoli Gratin

TOTAL TIME: 20 minutes


  • 1 cup cauliflower florets, bite-size pieces
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, bite-size pieces
  • 1 cup oyster mushrooms
  • 2 oz cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz flank steak
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Pinch of pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil



  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp coconut amino
  • ½ tsp black pepper



  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 4 x 8” baking pan with parchment.
  2. In a medium bowl mix cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, cheddar, heavy cream, salt and pepper. Pour gratin mixture into lined baking pan. Bake until golden brown.





  1. Season steak with salt and pepper.  Place a medium skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Add olive oil and sear steak on both sides.  Remove steak from heat once you have reached your desired temperature and save pan with oil and juices.


Pan Sauce:


  1. To the steak pan add heavy cream, coconut aminos, salt and pepper over low heat.
  2. Cook to reduce by half.
