Keto BLT Burgers

- 1 lb / 455 g bacon, sliced
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb / 455 g ground beef, shaped into 2 patties
- 1 Tbsp kosher salt
- 1 Tbsp black pepper
- 2-4 leaves butterhead lettuce, loose leaf
- 1 150 g tomato, sliced
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F / 204 degrees C.
On a baking pan, place 2 slices of bacon in an L shape, and weave the rest of the bacon slices to form a square.
Bake the bacon until crispy, 20 to 25 minutes.
Remove bacon from the oven and lay on a paper towel to blot the grease.
Preheat a grill or pan to medium-high heat. Season both sides of the ground beef patties with salt and pepper. Grill to your desired temperature.
Cut the bacon into four squares to start to assemble the burger.
Place 2 of the bacon squares on a plate or serving board. Top each with lettuce, a burger patty, sliced tomato, and finish burgers with the other 2 bacon squares.
