Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (204 degrees C) and line baking tray with parchment paper.
Peel and cut 2 rutabagas into ¼ inch sticks using a pairing knife. Place them in a large bowl.

Lightly spray rutabaga sticks with Avocado oil spray and season with 1 teaspoon sea salt and ¼ teaspoon black pepper. Mix until evenly coated.

Lay rutabaga spears out on lined baking tray and bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
While rutabaga sticks are baking, mix ½ cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon tomato paste, and ½ teaspoon smoked paprika in a small bowl to make fry sauce.

Once rutabaga fries are done baking, remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.
Serve fries hot with fry sauce.
