Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter divided
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 4-ounce halibut fillets
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 pound asparagus
  • 3 tablespoons garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • In skillet over medium heat, melt half of butter with 2 tablespoons olive oil.

  • Add 3 4-ounce halibut fillets and season with 1 pinch salt and 1 pinch pepper. Cook until golden on both sides and done to taste inside. Transfer to plate.

  • In same pan add 1 pound asparagusand salt and pepper to taste. Cook until stalks are tender.
