Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F / 177 degrees C.
  • Grease an 8-inch pan with butter.

  • Combine 6 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons coconut shortening, and ¾ cup chocolate chips in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until mixture thickens, about 5 to 7 minutes.

  • Slowly pour chocolate mixture into egg mixture, stirring constantly to prevent scrambling eggs.
  • Add in remaining ½ cup chocolate chips and stir until evenly distributed.
