Below is my 3 years journey with the amazing healthy lifestyle Keto.

I started keto accidentally after it was a trending issue at least with people around me. It was really accidentally because I was planning to reduce my food intake and I knew that keto needs to reduce/stop rice, bread, and sugar (this was what I only knew about keto at that time). I tried that and I actually felt a little difference in my size. This was the first and real motivation for me to read more about the ketogenic diet, and I did. My problems that were treated with keto are much more to be mentioned here altogether, but I'll focus on those which must never be neglected of course in addition to weight loss.

 

First of all, it's the complete relief of my 18 years old reflux esophagitis for which I consumed huge amounts of PPIs in addition to the stressful mode when eating any meal even with the low level of fat in it! What a marvel I'm facing! Daily consumption of fat and not any signs from my esophagus!!!

 

The second most critical issue solved by my new keto regime was a neurological problem that was hard to be treated neither by medicines nor by change of lifestyle. I suddenly presented with a condition my neurologist called loss of direction. After all necessary investigations, including MRI, the exact problem was so hard to be diagnosed and my suffering was continuous and lastly becoming a daily basis. My exact complaint was suddenly losing the directions map in my brain and sometimes being unable even to describe where I'm standing or even driving at that moment! This was a serious problem of about 3 years when I started keto.

 

After about 10 months of my keto journey, I remembered that I had such a complaint long before and it disappeared completely. After many searches and Dr. Berg's videos, I knew that "the brain loves ketones"! As I mentioned just above, I'm not about to talk about so many positive changes I experienced with keto throughout my 3 years journey, because there's still much more to write like the super energy I still have especially when I'm in the fasting period which was before just a "myth" for me if someone was asking me to cut carbs and do IF to be more energetic but I tried it by myself and it really is the only pure healthy way to get as more energy as you want. It's a super refreshing feeling when you meet someone you know and he doesn't know you for the first while due to the huge positive change in your appearance! Thanks, Dr. Berg for the most influential information I got via your videos, their fingerprint is so clear in my health journey.
