Tarun Datta's Story

Images Story

By: Tarun Datta

Tarun Datta had tried everything under the Indian sun to lose weight but nothing seemed to be working. Even walking 15 km every day didn’t keep the weight off. At 53 years old, Datta was wearing 118 kg (260 pounds) on his 5”7’ frame. And while he fortunately didn’t suffer from any medical issues despite his size, he was ashamed and disgusted at the way he looked and felt.

Then he found Dr. Berg’s videos on YouTube and his life was changed. “I watched [his channel] nonstop for five hours,” Datta said. “He has the greatest advice ever!”

After learning about keto and intermittent fasting, he immediately began eating only once a day. At first, his wife and family weren’t sure about this lifestyle but Datta felt that Dr. Berg’s simple advice to not eat frequently was the only sane advice he’s ever gotten. Eventually, his family members came around and are on their way to better health as well.

Now, Datta weighs 69 kg (152 pounds) after chalking up a total weight loss of 49 kg (108 pounds). “That weight is never coming back,” he says. “My health is probably as good as when I was a teenager.”

He walks or does a short sprint every morning with his dog and some friends who, by the way, have also changed their lives thanks to Dr. Berg. He eats lots of butter, vegetables, eggs, and meats with cheese, nuts, apple cider vinegar, and coffee or tea.

“All I’ve done is put Dr. Berg’s advice into practice,” says Datta. “I believe anyone who listens to Dr. Berg for even 10 minutes will know that this is the man who will help change your life and health.”

Favorite Way to Exercise: Walking and sprinting

Favorite Keto Recipe: “Anything made in lots of butter and steaming hot,” Datta says. “Cheese omelet, and butter-sautéed green peas and mushrooms with it, are on the top of my list.”
