Rosemarie Hilton had long been battling bulimia, anorexia, and trauma from an abusive past, and she had lost all faith, feeling like everything she ate was against her body. She became depressed and hopeless. Many people who struggle with their weight can relate to these feelings. But she has shared her story to urge others not to give up.

At a time when she needed encouragement, Hilton’s husband reminded her of a diet called keto that his coworker was trying. Despite some skepticism, they both decided to see if it worked.. She came across Dr. Berg’s videos while doing research online and found the content informative and funny.

“I really liked him and his wife’s personality,” she said. “His YouTube channel has helped me immensely on my ketogenic journey.”

Since Hilton and her husband were losing weight together, they became each other’s biggest supporters. But the couple also found a wider community on social media that helped them through the more challenging times.

Intermittent fasting really helped her shed weight in the beginning. She only wishes she’d known more about the vitamins and electrolytes needed to help prevent “keto flu.” She jumped right into keto before she knew about taking supplements.

“The hardest part was being patient with myself and trusting the process,” she said. But once she learned how to eat properly and to be happy with herself regardless of her size, keto made all the difference. In a few short months, both Hilton and her husband lost 35 pounds—and still counting. 

“I feel happier, joyful, energetic, positive, focused, and motivated!” she said, excitedly.

After seeing such amazing results, Hilton started her own blog on a website where she shares her story and includes keto recipes for her readers—at www.faith4ketokitchen.com. “There is hope no matter what season you’re in, in life’s journey,” she says. “Keep searching, dig deep and trust the process!”

Favorite Way to Exercise: The Hiltons have a home gym where they use The Total Gym, calisthenics bars, bands, and free weights.
