My story is simple and probably not unique. After I turned 50 the kilos started slowly to add. Being in sales, I have lots of traveling, dinners, and snacking. Often alcohol is served during dinner. Weekend snacking also turned into daily snacking, crips, beer, chocolate, pasta, pizza, and whatnot.

When I turned 51 and realized I was now 94 kilos and obese! Something had to be done.. I looked at myself in the mirror and I did not like my own image. I had a beer belly and puffed cheeks. Fatface. Not a good sight! I had seen some YouTube videos earlier regarding intermittent fasting. I started to research the topic and soon came across the Swedish Diet Doctor who spoke warmly about the Keto diet. Then I discovered Dr. Berg who spoke warmly about both intermittent fasting and the low carb keto lifestyle.

1st of July, I kick-started my new life and quit carbs like bread, pasta, beer, and sugar food! This immediately gave effect and kilos started to drop. After a month I started only doing 3 meals - no snacking! After three months I skipped lunch now and then. After 4 months I skipped breakfast I was not hungry. I took a spoon of MCT oil as breakfast. I also started to take vitamins and Omega 3 in the morning. In November I tried 3 days with only one meal - dinner. This was also no problem.

Now 6 months later, on Dec. 20th I am 80 kilos and feel better than ever! No cravings or feeling down. This is for sure my new lifestyle! I enjoy some low sugar white- and red wine on the weekends, but I mostly stay away from beer. My goal after Christmas is to also start exercising. By July my weight should be down to 75-77 kg and that is where I want to be. Thank you, Dr. Berg! I also enjoy your informative YouTube videos on different health-related topics and nutrition. Your low-carb pizza has also become a favorite in our house.
