Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Tex-Mex seasoning
  • 1 cup tomatoes crushed
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F / 190 degrees C.
  • In skillet, melt ⅓ cup butter, then add 1½ pounds ground beef and 3 tablespoons Tex-Mex seasoning.

  • Cook until meat is browned and no longer pink. Add 1 cup tomatoes, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Remove from heat and transfer mixture into greased baking dish.
  • Top with ¼ cup pickled jalapeños and ⅓ cup cheddar cheese.

Notes
