Ingredients

  • ¾ cup almond flour
  • 5 tablespoons psyllium husks whole
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon allulose
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • 3 egg whites large
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F / 177 degrees C.
  • In mixing bowl or food processor, combine ¾ cup almond flour, 5 tablespoons psyllium husks, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 tablespoon allulose, and ¾ teaspoon sea salt until mixed thoroughly.

  • Add 3 egg whites, 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar, and 1 cup boiling waterStir until dough becomes thick and smooth.

  • Divide dough into six ball shapes and place on large baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes to 1 hour. Add 10 minutes as needed until golden brown.
  • Serve with grass-fed butter and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a golden brown crust, create an egg wash by combining two tablespoons of water with the leftover egg yolks. Apply the mixture with a pastry brush over the rolls before baking.
  • For a cheesy variation, add shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese to the dough before shaping the rolls.
  • To create a garlicky bread roll, brush the dough balls with melted butter and top them with garlic powder. 
  • If you prefer larger hamburger buns, divide the dough into four portions and shape before baking. Check periodically, as the baking time may be shorter.
