Ketogenic Biscuits and Gravy

This dish is delicious and very filling.  It would be great during the adaptation phase, since it is very high in fat.  Enjoy!

For Gravy:

For Biscuits:

Ketogenic Biscuits and Gravy

TOTAL TIME: 45 minutes



For Sausage Gravy:

Pork Sausage - 1 lb

Butter - 1 tablespoon

Heavy Cream - 1 cup

Cream Cheese - 1/4 cup

For Biscuits:

Almond Flour - 1 1/cups

Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon

Garlic Powder - 1/teaspoon

Eggs - 2 large

Cheddar Cheese - 1/2 cup

Sour Cream - 1/cup

Butter - 1/4 cup (melted)


In a pan, cook sausage over medium heat.

Place pork to the side on a paper towel to soak up some of the fat.

In a saucepot, melt down butter.  Add pork.  Add thyme.  Add heavy cream.

For Biscuits:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix together dry ingredients: almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder. 

Next, add eggs, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and melted butter.

Using molds or a muffin tray, bake for 25 minutes @ 350 degrees.

Cut biscuits in half, smother in gravy!
