How to Cook Shredded Beef


Shredded beef is delicious and easy to make.  You can make a roast during the week and add it to salads or serve with eggs for breakfast.  Use a fattier cut of beef, the fat helps to create moist and tender meatCook your beef ahead of time.  Use it throughout the week in different recipes.

How to Cook Shredded Beef

TOTAL TIME: 8-10 Hours

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Place beef in roasting pan.
  2. Use any old vegetables that you have in your refrigerator to add flavor. In this recipe, we used onions, peppers, scallions, and carrots.
  3. Salt and pepper heavily.  Cover and cook overnight (8-10 hours).
  4. Pull apart meat while still hot.


Not everyone has a crock pot, but you if do you can also use that for this recipe!  It will only take about 4-5 hours in a crock pot.
