After ten years of struggling through different diets and fads, Manny Monzales still had issues with his weight. Then he heard about keto from a friend. In doing some research online he came across Dr. Berg’s videos.
Now, he says he feels great, light and relaxed—and he wouldn’t have done anything differently.
It took Monzales a while to understand what keto actually was. But after learning through Dr. Berg’s videos, it really started to make sense. “I don't feel hungry [all] of the time,” he said. “Unlike before when I was using carbs as my source of energy.”
Monzales agrees that it does take a lot of self-control and discipline to stay motivated. But the best part is that he’s enjoying his food, loving his lifestyle, and achieving his goal to lose weight. “Make it as a lifestyle to not come back to eating carbohydrates,” he said. “I stay encouraged as my self-confidence [increases].”
While he hasn’t found time to add an exercise regimen into his routine, Monzales has still been able to drop a lot of weight. And through the process, he’s learned to make his own keto recipes that are good enough to stick with.
When asked what he’d tell others who are considering keto, he said he urges people not to be afraid to start. It can be very overwhelming to completely change the way you eat and what you eat. But with results to prove effectiveness and with the help of Dr. Berg’s videos, Monzales says he’s living proof.
