After her second Cesarean section, S.S. felt like it was impossible to lose the weight. She wanted her “before baby body” and tried many different diets with common results: she’d lose a couple of pounds only to gain it all back shortly thereafter.
“I accidentally watched one of Dr. Berg’s videos on YouTube and all of it made sense to me,” said S.S. “I started watching more and more and learned a lot from them. I wanted to give it a try so I started the same day.”
Both of her parents are diabetic and her mom suffers from glaucoma. She knows that keto could help them, but they aren’t interested in cutting carbs. So far, her only support system has been Dr. Berg’s videos.
“He had an answer for every single problem I had,” she said. “For example, the lightheadedness or the dizziness when I started my diet. It was a big deal for me that he had a very simple and easy solution for it. The most important thing is now I know how bad carbs [are for] my body.”
S.S. used to eat a sugary pastry every morning with her coffee. Sugar was her “soft spot” and cutting it out seemed challenging. But the fast results kept her going.
“Now I eat less food but I know my body gets all the nutrients it needs from quality food. I’m less hungry. I feel great inside and out. I can wear what I want with confidence,” she said.
By following Dr. Berg’s advice step by step, in less than three months S.S. lost 27 pounds (12 kg).
“I feel great. I know for sure this [will] be my lifestyle forever. The last time I was this skinny I was in 7th grade,” she said. “Just give it a try and don’t give up. If you feel there is a problem, watch Dr. Berg’s videos and you’ll know how to solve it.”
