Alexander Ladroma gained a lot of weight after he moved to Canada in 2008. His concern about the weight was intensified by his family history of cancer and heart problems; in fact, he decided to commit to a healthy lifestyle after he saw his father pass away from a myocardial infarction at age 54.
Now, after just a few months of watching Dr. Berg’s videos, Ladroma is down from 93 kgs (205 lbs) to 84 kgs (185 lbs).
Ladroma found out about Dr. Berg’s videos from his friend Teddy Tolentino. From them he learned a lot about such subjects asFat Storing Hormone, sugar, GMOs and carbohydrates. “My coworkers say I talk like a doctor now,” said Ladroma with a laugh. And while these same coworkers weren’t supportive at first, since he has been succeeding Ladroma says he now sees them eating their vegetables too.
“The results keep me going,” Ladroma explains. “My wife is very supportive and I feel so good, more focused at work and less tired during the day. Keto is my way of life now.”
Learning to properly prep his food has been Ladroma’s biggest challenge. With Keto, making sure all your food is fully washed and safe to eat is important. “I wish I would’ve taken probiotics from the beginning as well,” he said. “It would’ve made it easier to digest vegetables that my system wasn’t yet used to.”
His advice to those just starting out with Keto and intermittent fasting is to stay away from sugar and carbs as much as possible until you’re adapted to burning fat.
“The best part is the feeling,” says Ladroma. “I love how I look too, but there’s nothing like feeling this good!”
