The Best and Worst Weight Loss Snacks

The first thing you need to know, if your metabolism is slow, certain snack foods that some diets tell you can have, are not good they are bad like fruit.

Even in my book I do recommend fruit, but with a lot of people it will slow down weight loss. Fruit won’t make you gain, but you might have to omit fruit until you get to your goal weight then you can add it back in.

Another bad thing to eat is protein bars because it has a tremendous amount of sugar. Yogurt is healthy, but even the plain may have up to 20 grams of sugar.

Foods you can eat:

  • Peanut Butter – It has sugar of 1 gram per serving size. Make sure it does not have added sugar. You will have to really read the label.
  • Humus – It has 0 sugar gram.
  • Cheese – It is a fermented food which means the bacteria that helps make the cheese will eat up all the milk sugar.

What to put them on? You can put them on celery, carrots or tomato.

I also recommend the kale shake but if it bloats you or any food including vegetable, you might have to omit it because it will stop your weight loss.
