Recently, there was an interesting study that came out that analyzed five different meta-analyses, which are studies of studies. They looked at the data and concluded that adults should continue the current consumption of meat and processed meat. On the flip side, current guidelines say that you need to decrease your consumption of meat.

There is conflicting information. So, it’s time to dig deeper. When I started digging deeper into this topic, I found that most of the research is observational studies.

This has to do with questionnaires where they rely on the person's memory. I don’t believe these types of studies are very credible. There are no randomized controlled trials that I found that examine eating beef and disease.

It’s important when you hear different claims to look at both sides and find out if there’s any vested interest, and look at the quality of the study.

As far as consuming red meat, this may be one of those times where you can test it out for yourself and see how you feel after eating red meat.

This way, you have first-hand knowledge to see if something works for you or not. However, I do believe that doing the Healthy Keto diet and Intermittent fasting is the way to go.
