Eggs, Grass Fed Hot Dogs, and Kale Shake

Grass fed hot dogs are delicious.  Give them a try if you haven’t already.  They are delicious with eggs and avocados.  Add a kale shake to this meal to get your healthy carbs!

Eggs, Grass Fed Hot Dogs, and Kale Shake

TOTAL TIME: 25 mins

SERVES: 1

INGREDIENTS:

Grass Fed Hot Dog - 1 hot dog (must be grass fed)

Coconut Oil - 1 tablespoon (14 g)

Eggs - 2 large eggs (100 g)

Avocado - ½ medium avocado (50 g)

Berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries) - less than 1 cup or you can used flavored stevia

Kale - 1 cup

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut up hot dog, place ½ tablespoon of coconut oil in pan, turn on medium heat.
  2. Add hot dog, keep on medium heat for 5-8 mins.
  3. Mix eggs with a fork or whisk in a bowl.  Add ½ tablespoon coconut oil to pan, add eggs.  Keep on medium-low heat.
  4. Fold eggs in pan until completely cooked.Serve hot dog/eggs with avocado and kale shake!

Tips

This is a good time to implement a kale shake into your meal.  Just make sure you use less than 1 cup of berries and you will be fine!

Mix together frozen berries, kale, and enough water to make everything a shake consistency.
